The BC Elite Hockey League (BCEHL) is already six games old and the Richmond-based Greater Vancouver Canadians’ U18 AAA team is off to a great start.

The team, which plays out of the Richmond Olympic Oval, is tied for first place after dominating the rival Thompson Blazers and North Island Silvertips over the past two weekends.

The boys beat up the pair a total of 38-7 over the four games to send the team to the top of the standings.

Meanwhile, the Canadians’ U17 team has yet to catch fire this season, while the U15 team has a number of skilled players and holds some promise.
