The Richmond-based Regional Animal Protection Society (RAPS) opened a new animal hospital last month at the Richmond Auto Mall and they are currently inviting the public to tour the facility.

The hospital is now open to the public for tours every Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Last year, RAPS decided to open its own hospital in an effort to deal with an annual, crippling bill for veterinary care, which ran into hundreds of thousands of dollars.
As well, revenue generated by public services at the new hospital will support every area of RAPS’ work.
The hospital is also offering vet services to the public.
