A body recovered from the Fraser River Thursday morning has been deemed not suspicious by Delta police.
In a news release Friday morning, DPD say the male has been identified and his family has been notified.
“The death has been deemed not suspicious and Delta police will not be releasing his identity, as the file is now with the BC Coroner’s Service,” said DPD public affairs coordinator Cris Leykauf.
The body was recovered from the Fraser in the 8200 block of River Road, near Bridgeview Marine.
An individual that works in the area alerted police to the body.
