Alcohol was allegedly found to be a factor when a car flipped in a west Richmond neighbourhood on Sunday evening.
Richmond RCMP responded to the incident on Barnard Drive, just south of Terra Nova South Park, around 9 p.m. on June 22 to find a car flipped on its side.
A Lexus SUV collided with an occupied parked vehicle, resulting in the Lexus flipping on its side, explained Cpl. Melissa Lui, media relations officer with the Richmond RCMP.
RCMP allege alcohol was a factor in the incident and the driver has been suspended from driving for 90 days, had her vehicle impounded for 30 days, and was issued a violation ticket for several Motor Vehicle Act infractions, Lui added.
The female driver was the only person in the SUV and was taken to Richmond Hospital for a medical assessment with minor injuries.
No other people were injured in the incident.
