While many people were partying it up on Canada’s big birthday, a Richmond non-profit’s members were busy cleaning the street in and around the city centre.
Volunteers from the Tzu Chi Foundation, Canada took to the streets in downtown Richmond on Canada Day with their garbage pickers.
The groups snaked its way up and down No. 3 Road and visited various shopping centres and high traffic areas, such as transit hubs to pick up just about anything and everything from the ground.
The foundation’s members carry out a variety of community-minded duties throughout the year.
