Highway 99 at the Steveston interchange will be closed Tuesday night between 11 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. so crews can relocate a power line.
Traffic will be detoured up and over the existing on- and off-ramps. The highway will be fully open to drivers by Wednesday at 5 a.m.
The work is being carried out by BC Hydro, which is relocating its east-west distribution line that runs along Steveston Highway.
Drivers can expect minor delays and are being advised to avoid the interchange during the disruption.
Short-term traffic stoppages on the ramps may be necessary. Access for emergency responders, residents and businesses will be maintained throughout this work.
Drivers can expect minor delays and are asked to use caution through the detour. For updates, check: www.DriveBC.ca
