There’s usually something interesting to see when you take a walk around Richmond.
On a sunny Sunday morning, while walking on the West Dyke Trail at Blundell Road, I got chatting with a BC Hydro electrician/lineman.
He was perched high on his cherry picker, replacing two fuses for the transformers.
Apparently, the fuses can be damaged by birds landing or flying into the transformer system.
I thought that the work was interesting and the colours were great against the clear blue sky of beautiful Richmond.
Tune in next Monday morning to see what Grant comes across while he’s “Out and About in Richmond.”
