Another newly-minted millionaire is waiting to be discovered in Richmond after Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draw.

A tasty $7 million is waiting for someone in the city to collect after their single ticket matched all six numbers.

BCLC said no one has yet to come forward to claim their prize and the location where the winning ticket was purchased will only be revealed when the winner surfaces.

All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize.

There were also two winners of $33,673.40 in Vancouver in the draw. The guaranteed prize draw of $1 million went to a winner in Quebec.

In May, the Richmond News told how Ping Kuen Shum won $2 million in the same draw after his final day at work, which was also his birthday.

He bought his ticket in Parker Place in north Richmond.

The odds of matching all the numbers for the BC/49 lottery are almost 14 million to one.
