A new poké bar is scheduled to open up in Richmond this fall.
Steve's Poké Bar is opening up its 15th location in the city's Broadmoor Plaza at 10111 No. 3 Road in October.
The Hawaiian eatery was first established when Huynh noticed a shortage of poké spots that reminded him of his childhood in O'ahu, Hawaii.
According to owners Steve Huynh and Camy Wong, they saw a demand in the Richmond market for the traditional Hawaiian dish.
"Our guests have long asked us to open a location in Richmond, and we finally found a conveniently located, easily accessible spot in Broadmoor Shopping Centre - perfect to service the families and community in the area” said Wong.
No exact date of the store's opening has been announced at the moment.
