Richmond Mounties are hoping this sketch of a break-in suspect - who pepper-sprayed the homeowner - will strike a chord with a member of the public.

Richmond Mounties are hoping this sketch of a break-in suspect - who pepper-sprayed the homeowner - will strike a chord with a member of the public.

The incident happened last May and the RCMP, having exhausted all avenues of investigation, are hoping someone recognizes the man.

On the day in question, around 4 p.m., the owner returned home at around to find the front door of his residence kicked in.

He then came face to face with a suspect, who deployed some type of pepper spray chemical in his face before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, five foot, six inches tall, with short blonde hair.
