A police search for a missing person in Steveston early Thursday morning was succesful, according to Cpl. Dennis Hwang of Richmond RCMP.
"We've located the individual," said Hwang, after numerous police cruisers swarmed the village area.
A search was also performed in the water as the person was thought to have possibly jumped in.
Hwang did not go into details as to the motive or reasons, however, he expressed there was no concern for public safety.
The search lasted about 30 minutes.
