Someone in Richmond had a million-dollar Christmas after buying a Lotto Max ticket for the Dec. 23 draw.
Nobody matched the seven numbers needed for the grand prize of $50 million, but a ticket bought somewhere in Richmond is worth a tidy $1 million after one of the two MaxMillion numbers was matched.
As of Thursday, the winner had yet to come forward to claim his or her prize.
The $50 million jackpot will be up for grabs in this Friday's draw.
