Two McMath students are being recognized for their volunteer and leadership work by the Girl Guides of Canada.
Alexandria Semple and Carleigh Goldberg have been presented with their gold and silver Trailblazer awards, respectively, highlighting their work as junior leaders of the fourth Richmond Embers unit.
Semple also received a commendation letter from the head guiding commissioner for her service to the Girl Guides of Canada organization.
The silver and gold levels of the Trailblaze awards mark the culmination of a ranger’s work as a girl guide member.
