From the annual Nations Cup soccer tournament to a matcha tasting workshop, there's something for everyone in Richmond this weekend.
1. Nations Cup soccer tournament
The 44th annual Nations Cup is taking over Hugh Boyd Community Park, Minoru Park and South Arm Park this weekend.
More than 1,400 participants among 80 teams travelling from as far as Los Angeles will be in Richmond competing for the championship title.
Aside from the day-long games taking place, there will be food trucks and drinks for participants and visitors.
Food trucks and a beer garden will be set up at Hugh Boyd Community Park during the weekend event.

2. Multicultural Bazaar
Richmond Multicultural Community Services is hosting a multicultural bazaar.
Local vendors from diverse backgrounds will be showcasing unique handmade crafts, art and more.
Date: Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: Richmond Caring Place lobby, 7000 Minoru Blvd.
3. Bon Odori Festival
The Steveston Buddhist Temple is hosting its annual Bon Odori Festival this weekend.
This festival is a celebration held during the Obon season, a time when Buddhists honour the spirits of their ancestors who are believed to return for a brief visit.
There will be food, children's activities, door prizes and a traditional Buddhist service.
The Bon Odori dance will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Date: Saturday, July 19, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Location: Steveston Buddhist Temple, 4390 Garry St.
4. Matcha tasting experience
Teakan Co. and The Breakroom Richmond are hosting a matcha tasting workshop.
Attendees will learn about the world of matcha, daily rituals, tools and history of it as well as different ways matcha can be enjoyed.
