How to recycle Christmas trees in Richmond

Richmondites have two options left for recycling their live trees – either by taking them to the recycling depot or putting them out with their green waste.
Christmas trees

The holidays are over and for many people who bought live Christmas trees, now is the time to think about how to recycle them.

Richmondites have two options left for recycling their live trees – either by taking them to the recycling depot or putting them out with their green waste.

The Richmond Recycling Depot is located at 5555 Lynas Lane and is currently taking live Christmas trees.

Trees put out on the curbside with regular green cart collection should be cut up and bundled to a maximum size of three feet by two feet and four inches in diameter.
