High pollen levels in Richmond, Metro Vancouver

Seasonal allergies are creeping in for many residents in Richmond and across Metro Vancouver as pollen levels increase this week.

According to the Weather Network, very high levels of pollen have been detected on Wednesday, March 31 and is in the forecast until April 2.

Pollen levels for Richmond is "very high" from cedar, juniper and other various trees.

Meanwhile, pollen from alder, aspen and poplar trees are at high and moderate levels.

Forecast levels are determined from samples taken at 32 local reporting stations across Canada.
