For some Richmond residents, mild seasonal allergies kicked in earlier this week, but pollen levels are on the rise.
According to the Weather Network, high levels of pollen are forecasted for Thursday through Saturday for the city.
Pollen levels for Richmond is "very high" from cedar, juniper and other various trees.
Meanwhile, pollen from elm, hazelnut, alder, aspen and poplar trees are low.
Forecast levels are determined from samples taken at 32 local reporting stations across Canada.
