But the four giant portable floodlights that towered high above Fishermens Wharf Tuesday night were in place for the overnight filming of massive monster flick Godzilla.

Film crews had been shooting war zone-like scenes all day Monday in the village and, at around 10:30 p.m., they were busy setting up for a night session on the wharf.

Crews could be seen preparing what appeared to be an amphibious naval landing craft in the harbour, while heavily armed actors and extras, dressed as American military personnel wandered around the boardwalk waiting for their queue.
