The lighting of a 52-feet Christmas tree at Richmond's McArthurGlen Designer Outlet is taking place this Wednesday.
For the eighth year, McArthurGlen is hosting its Sparkle Brighter event to celebrate the winter holidays starting Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 5 to 8 p.m.
A "very special North Pole" friend is expected to arrive at the outlet at 7 p.m. to help with the annual tree lighting event this year.
Visitors can expect live entertainment from the Vancouver Pops Choir and The ShowStoppers, stilt performers and walk-through festive decorations.
There will also be a decorated trees display by students from McNeely Elementary School, Vancouver College and Little Flower Academy.
