A free community cobb oven event is being held this coming weekend at the Sharing Farm in Richmond.
On Saturday, Sept. 24, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. the Sharing Farm – on Westminster Highway in Terra Nova - will host the event for the community to come together and enjoy fresh Indian flatbreads made in their cobb oven.
It’s thanks to the city’s Richmond Neighbourhood Celebration Grant Program, that the Sharing Farm is able to put on the event.
Local chef, VCC baking instructor and long-term supporter of the farm Nav Sidhu will be making vegetarian and vegan Indian flatbreads with toppings including cauliflower, potatoes, cheese and home-grown farm vegetables, with yogurt and chutney on the side.
