Four new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Richmond over the past week, bringing the total to 96.

The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) released the latest numbers on Thursday afternoon.

Over the past two weeks, there have been 52 new cases in Vancouver and four new ones on the North Shore.

The testing centre for COVID-19 is open weekdays and statutory holidays at the Richmond Tennis Club, just south of Richmond Hospital at 6820 Gilbert Rd.

It is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

While the testing site is referred to a “drive-through” site, there is a dedicated lane for those arriving by foot.

As of last week, 1,100 people had been tested at the site. Those without symptoms won’t be tested.

There is no need for an appointment to be tested, but there can be a short wait time, according to VCH. The busiest times are at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
