A flash of light and fire on Mitchell Island led to a worker being taken to hospital Wednesday afternoon.
WorkSafeBC is investigating the accident at United Lock-Block Ltd. on the island's 13,000block of Mitchell Road that sent one worker to hospital with minor injuries.
Richmond RCMP said the accident happened at 2 p.m. while a male employee worked on an electrical box.
