The owner of a missing dog who’s been hanging around Richmond for the past couple weeks is asking people not to approach or chase the pup if they see him.

Littlefoot, the rescue dog from Thailand who’s been on the loose since Dec. 2, came close to being brought in a few times this week before being chased away from the area he was settling into by would-be catchers.

Owner Jocelyn Aspa has hired a professional pet searcher, named Al, who’s laid out humane traps for Littlefoot. She’s asking people to stay away from the dog and the traps so that the pup can become comfortable enough to be brought home.

This week, Aspa shared a video of Littlefoot curling up for a nap outside a Richmond parkade. She’s told the Richmond News it’s encouraging to know where he  is and that he’s ok, but that she just wants him to come home.

If you see Littlefoot, don’t approach him. Just call Al at 604-825-6913 or Aspa at 604-805-4670.
