Richmond RCMP are saying very little of a police incident that led to a “hold and secure” procedure at nearby Dixon elementary.
Cpl. Dennis Hwang told the Richmond News only that an incident had occurred on Jesmond Drive Wednesday afternoon.
He said there was no information he could divulge.
Richmond School District spokesperson David Sadler said Dixon students have only been released to parents and guardians at the school. Meanwhile Hugh Boyd students were advised by police and teachers to stay clear of the area.
Jesmond Drive is in West Richmond in the quiet 'Monds' neighbourhood.
