A track issue affected service between Waterfront and Kind Edward Station Thursday morning

There are delays to Canada Line service due to a track issue.

Canada Line service has been restored following an earlier track issue that caused delays for commuters Thursday morning.

However, TransLink is advising Canada Line users that there may still be gaps in service while regular schedules resume. Additional bus service will be in place until then.

Commuters faced delays during their Thursday morning commute due to the track issue, which affected service between Waterfront and King Edward Station.

As a result, customers heading in both directions had to switch trains at Yaletown or King Edward Station to continue their journey.

TransLink also set up additional bus service for customers travelling between those stations.

The Expo and Millennium lines were not affected.
