An 80-year-old man from Richmond is dead after a serious crash on the Trans-Canada Highway in the B.C. Interior.
The man, who has not yet been named, died after the accident on Friday morning between Revelstoke and Golden on Forde Station Road.
The Golden-Field RCMP and the RCMP Traffic Services responded to the crash and three people were taken to hospital in Golden with various injuries.
Police are working with the BC Coroner’s Service to investigate the incident.
The highway between Revelstoke and Golden was closed in both directions for several hours as the investigation took place.
