McMath secondary in Richmond has been flagged for a COVID-19 exposure.

Vancouver Coastal Health is warning of a COVID-19 exposure at McMath secondary.

The health authority has added the school on its online list of school exposures, and says the exposure took place on March 10 to 12.

An exposure occurs when someone with COVID-19 was in the school during their infectious period.

Those who need to self-isolate as a result of the exposure are contacted directly by public health, according to VCH. Anyone who wasn’t contact doesn’t need to self-isolate.

Other recent exposures at Richmond schools, as listed by VCH, include McKinney Elementary (March 8 to 9); Cambie secondary (March 8 to 9); McRoberts secondary (Feb. 26 and March 5); Manoah Steves elementary (March 1 to 3); McNair secondary (March 3); and Blundell elementary (March 1 to 2 and March 4).
