City fees climb 1.8 per cent, in step with inflation

The City of Richmond is raising service fees in hopes of generating a cool $96,000 of revenue to help offset inflationary costs. All fees will rise 1.8 per cent in accordance with Vancouver's Consumer Price Index.

All fees will rise 1.8 per cent in accordance with Vancouver's Consumer Price Index.

It's an automatic annual fee increase per council policy (long term financial management strategy)

Also, a new $57 fee is associated with certain requests regarding business licenses and some copy fees in the archives are going up as well.
