Richmond non-profits that are seeking funding for child care programs are encouraged to apply for a 2019 capital grant through the city.
Grant applications are now open for a second intake and are available to non-profit organizations that offer licensed child care programs in Richmond.
“The city has a long-standing commitment to support and provide funding assistance to non-profit organizations that carry out important services in Richmond,” says a statement from the city.
“Funding for child care grants are received from the city’s Child Care Development Reserve, which is funded by contributions from new developments.”
Applications can be submitted online through www.richmond.ca/citygrants by April 15 at 5 p.m. Non-profits who have applied for a grant during previous intakes are welcome to reapply.
