Travellers passing through Vancouver International Airport recently might have noticed cherry blossom displays scattered throughout the terminal.
From April 3 to 30, the airport has installed several photo spots highlighting the cherry blossom season in Vancouver.
"We know that Vancouver's iconic cherry blossoms captivate residents and tourists alike, with their blossoms marking the arrival of spring in the city," said a YVR spokesperson.
There are five sampling and photo-op stations post security where travellers can enjoy cookies, cupcakes, bubble tea, local craft beer and an exclusive cherry blossom cocktail.
In addition, the airport is partnering with YVR's commercial vendors such as a cafe/bar at the international departures, and post-security, for local treats and beverages for the season.
