Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 305 cases of COVID-19 detected in Richmond – this is 34 more than last week’s count, published by the BC Centre for Disease Control every Thursday evening.
In total, throughout the province, there have been 10,066 COVID-19 cases since it was first detected in March.
The provincial health officer announced there were 110 new cases in the past 24-hour period throughout B.C. There are currently 76 people in hospital, 17 of whom are in intensive care.
Testing continues at the Richmond Assessment Centre, located in the parking lot of the Richmond Tennis Club at 6820 Gilbert Rd., just south of Richmond Hospital.
