A Richmond-based company found itself among Canada’s best ten places to work in 2021, according to Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest job and recruiting sites.
Sage Software Canada, a company specialized in providing cloud technology, has been honoured with an Employees’ Choice Award this year.
The Employees’ Choice Award, now in its 13th year, is based solely on the input of employees who provide anonymous feedback about their job, work environment and employer review on the Glassdoor site.
Sage is ranked sixth among the list of the top 10 companies to work for in Canada, with an overall rating of 4.3 out of five stars. The Glassdoor honoured Sage since their work and activities have been well organized and managed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This award is truly a testament to our amazing colleagues. They have created this strong and dynamic culture full of smart, kind and hardworking people who are dedicated to the success of our customers and partners,” said Nancy Tichbon, managing director of Sage Canada.

In addition, Sage also launched a weekly “Always Listening” survey last year to understand how colleagues were feeling amid the pandemic and where they think they could benefit from more support from the company, according to Tichbon, adding that they could develop initiatives to better support colleagues based on their feedback.
Google led the top of the best places to work in Canada, followed by Microsoft, TC Energy, Apple and belairdirect.
