IT’S SANTA!!! Jolly Old Saint Nick has elves in Steveston excited for his imminent arrival this Sunday at Fisherman’s Wharf at 1 p.m.

The Steveston Mechants’ Association negotiated Santa’s popular arrival by boat for the 12th year in a row.

There will be roaming mascots and carollers walking through the village as Santa makes his way to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery for photos from 2-4 p.m.

Children and excited elves can have their photo taken with Santa for free (bring your own camera).

Volunteers will be handing out free Santa hats at the public wharf and a Christmas car cruise will meander through the village’s streets during Santa’s arrival, before parking behind the Buck and Ear.

Santa will also be at the Steveston Tram on Saturday noon to 3:30 p.m. Free photo opportunities are available there, as well.
