Richmond Public Library's Learning Together program beings on Feb. 3

Richmond Public Library (RPL) is offering an online version of their Learning Together program starting Feb. 3.

The eight-week program helps parents and kids aged three to five build a love of reading together and aims to improve literacy skills using the alphabet, numbers, stories and active play.

There will be both digital and physical literacy components throughout the program.

Participants will be given a free resource kit at the start of the program.

Families will need a computer, smartphone or tablet with a microphone and a webcam to join the program.

The Learning Together program is sponsored by the Ministry of Applied Skills and Technology and will be hosted online via Zoom every Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m.

Registration is limited and required.
