Free shuttle to the ROX in Richmond

Pilot program sees shuttle, for tourists and residents, picking up passengers at four Richmond locations once an hour and deliver them to the Richmond Olympic Oval

A new free shuttle service being launched will make it easier for visitors to find their way to the Olympic Experience (ROX) at the Richmond Olympic Oval.

The shuttle, for tourists and residents, will pick up passengers at four Richmond locations once an hour and deliver them to the Richmond Olympic Oval in 15 minutes or less.

Shuttle stops include River Rock Casino/Bridgeport Canada Line station; Radisson Hotel at Cambie and No.3 Road; 7181 Saba Road (just south of Brighouse Canada line station) and the Sheraton Vancouver Airport on Westminster Highway.

The service will run from 9:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily throughout the pilot period of July 14 to 31. For the full schedule and route map visit­ TheRox.ca/Shuttle.

The shuttle is available for all Olympic Oval and Olympic Experience customers.

Passengers should note that the shuttle is a trolley-style vehicle that is not accessible for persons in wheelchairs and is not equipped to transport bicycles.
