A three-day extravaganza of Chinese New Year events is happening at Canada Berries Winery this weekend.
The Respon – 2017 Chinese New Year Fair will feature 60 vendors and booths, traditional arts performances, and activities for the entire family.
The fair is billed as an event suited for everyone.
The festivities kick off with an opening ceremony on Friday, at 2 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. there will be family-friendly activities, games and lots of food choices.
The free event is supported by Chinese Ministry of Culture, Richmond Tourism, Canadian Community Service Association, and many other local business organizations and communities.
This is the third year organizers are putting on the event. Last year, guests were privy to traditional Chinese dancing as well as a lion dance.
This year, more vendors and activities are expected to boost participation.
The main sponsor is Respon Wealth Management Corp. Inc.
Canada Berries Winery is located at 12791 Blundell Road at Sidaway Road. There will be free parking for all guests.
