Angels There For You Home and Health Care Services will be hosting a free Breakfast in Steveston with senior care specialist Patricia Cruz on Thursday, May 9 from 8 to 9: 30 a.m. The breakfast will be held in the Gillnetter room of Steveston Community Centre, 4111 Moncton St. To RSVP, call 604271-4427.

Black Bond Books in Lansdowne Centre is holding a 15-table, 12-day sidewalk sale from Thursday, May 9 to May 20 at the Lansdowne Centre food court. Part of the sales will be donated to the Richmond Food Bank.

This year, children's character Arthur will visit on Saturday, May 18. Black Bond Books also collects gently used books for Richmond Food Bank Feed the Mind program.

Friday

Richmond's Move for Health Festival kicks off on Friday, May 10 at Minoru Park from 6 to 8 p.m. The night is a culmination of a week-long campaign to promote healthy, active living. Saturday

The London Heritage Farm hosts its annual plant sale this Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 at the farm, 6511 Dyke Rd. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale features more than 100 varieties of plants and is for all ages.

Looking for something to do on the weekends? Come enjoy an afternoon movie and coffee social on the second and fourth Saturday of every month from 2 to 4 p.m. at the South Arm Community Centre, 8880 Williams Rd., Seniors Lounge. Bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Richmond Food Bank.
