If you're digitally challenged, the librarians at Richmond Public Library can help. Come to a free, drop in session and get the tech support you need.

Sessions will be offered on Friday, Jan. 13 and 27 from 2: 30-3: 30 p.m. at the Brighouse Branch computer lab, located at 7700 Minoru Gate, and on Tuesday, Jan. 17 and 31 from 2: 30-3: 30 p.m. at the Ironwood Branch, located in the Ironwood Plaza at No. 5 Road and Steveston Highway. Space is limited, so first come, first served. Each session starts with a 15-minute talk or demonstration. The topic for January will be: "What is Social Media?" The library will feature a new topic each month. Participants are free to drop in at any time or stay for the whole hour.

SUNDAY

The Richmond Branch of the BC Registered Music Teachers will present three recitals on Sunday, Jan. 15 starting at 1: 30 p.m. at Richmond Presbyterian Church, 7111 No. 2 Rd. The first recital will feature students who achieved high results in the August 2011 exams and a trophy presentation will be made. For more information, call 604-268-9559.

MONDAY

Richmond Sings! On Monday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. at Fraserview MB Church, 11295 Mellis Dr., the Richmond Orchestra & Chorus Association, in support of Richmond's Dream Auction, have gathered other singers around themselves to offer an evening of music to help raise funds to support this cause that no child in Richmond will suffer from poverty. Vancouver Metropolitan Lions Club is hosting a Richmond Hospital Foundation fundraiser at the River Rock Show Theatre, Jan 16 at 7: 00. It is a dinner and a show event. Feature performer will be one of the best Elvis impersonators in North America.

WEDNESDAY
