The 15th annual B.C. Culture Days is returning to Richmond this month.

The national celebration of arts and culture will be jam-packed with hands-on demonstrations, interactive installations and various performances and workshops.

From Sept. 20 to Oct. 13, Richmond artists and art organizations offer insights into a wide range of art forms and practices.

This year, the opening weekend of Sept. 21 and 22 will kick off with a series of interactive artist-led activities at the Richmond Cultural Centre and Richmond Cultural Centre Annex.

Highlight activities include quilt-making, clay wheel-throwing demonstrations, Chinese folk and contemporary dance performances and a photo booth and kids fun zone.

The Richmond Museum will have a new "Family Treasures" exhibit with a treasure hunt and teddy bear repair fair in collaboration with the Richmond Environmental Program.

There will also be workshops at the Richmond Art Gallery through their Rooftop Garden Series along side their current art exhibition.

A full list of events and activities for Richmond Culture Days is available on the Culture Days website
