A casual snack-inspired shop has landed in Richmond and they are inviting foodies to come preview their menu this weekend.

Uncle’s Snack Shop is opening in former Green Lemongrass’ location – 8180 Westminster Highway—and is offering modern Asian snacks in a counter-service style.

The eatery will be open for a menu preview on March 13 and 14 from 12 p.m. until they are sold out.

While the Richmond location’s full menu is still in the works, Taiwanese sausage corndogs, ramen “shake shake” fries, green onion and ginger fried chicken sandwiches and more are expected to be on the list.

“We want to get your feedback as we continue to work on our menu,” reads an Instagram post from the eatery.

During the last couple weeks, the snack shop has been posting updates on the renovation process to Instagram.

Posts showed Vancouver-born actor and producer Osric Chau (Supernatural) and trained-chef and seasoned hospitality veteran Kevin Lin ripping down the original décor inside the shop, as well as Vancouver food blogger Stephanie Wan showing sneak peaks of menu updates.

An official opening date has yet to be revealed for Uncle’s Snack Shop.
