When a little girl’s birthday parade all but got rained out, Richmond RCMP came to the rescue.
Rayna Arulampalam was “super excited” to hear that her family and friends had planned a drive-by for her sixth birthday last weekend.
But when it poured with rain, it put a dampener on the whole parade, according to her mom, Neelam Murti.
That was until Richmond’s finest got wind of the parade and decided to light it up last Saturday when they were in the South Arm area.
“It wasn’t the biggest birthday, but the best,” said Murti.
