Church staff at St Joseph the Worker Parish got a nice surprise last week when they were all asked to stand outside the front door.
After gathering Friday evening outside the church at Williams Road near Railway Avenue, dozens of parishioners in their cars paraded through the parking lot, honking their horns in appreciation.
According to Suzanne, who shot the video of the parade, two parishioners, Heidi Flores and Sheila Lau, arranged the thank you.
Suzanne said it was for “ensuring that the church never stops and is keeping them all connected through virtual masses.”
If you would like to join in their live, virtual masses on Saturdays and Sundays, go to the church’s Facebook page.
