Annual Toy Drive in Memory of Victor Ghirra: Saturday, Dec. 16:

From 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. get along to Riverside Hall, 14500 River Rd. to donate an unwrapped, new toy to help charities such as: BC Children’s Hospital; the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau; Canuck Place; the Richmond Christmas Fund and underprivelaged Richmond schoolkids.

This is the 11th year of the toy drive, which was started to carry on the work of the late Victor “Secret Santa” Ghirra who, along with his friend, used to fill his car full of new toys and take the lot down to BC Children’s Hospital to make an anonymous donation before Christmas.
