If you’ve ever wanted to try out a climbing wall, there will be one at the Steveston Salmon Festival, courtesy of the Richmond Olympic Oval.
“It’s not the same as ours at the oval of course, but it will give people a chance to try it,” said Richmond Olympic Oval spokesman Aran Kay. “We’re going to have quite a large area this year, which is perfect for this.”
There will also be interactive displays and information about the oval for festival attendees to peruse. A bobsled shell will be displayed for people to climb into and take pictures with.
The climbing wall will be located on Moncton Street, by the main stage.
