I noted a recent photo in the Richmond News of the 1967 Richmond High School reunion recently held.
Not to be outdone by our longtime rivals, here is a photo of our 1967 Steveston High School graduating class. Our event occurred on Sept. 23 with a pub night, followed by a sit-down dinner at the Richmond Curling Club the next day.
We had approximately 80 grads return, with one person coming from as far away as Panama.
This will probably be our last formal reunion, so it was nice to see everyone — albeit maybe for the last time.
We were also fortunate to have one teacher, Mr. Hilderbrand, who was the industrial arts teacher during our years at Steveston High. Mr. Hilderbrand was instrumental in digitalizing all the graduate photos that hung on the walls of Steveston High before being transferred over to Steveston-London Secondary.
