Friends of the Richmond Library is hosting two sidewalk book sales in July.

Pat Ng, spokesperson for Friends of the Richmond Library, said their June book sale was such a success they had to host another one.

The weather-dependent events will be held on Saturday, July 10 and 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside Cambie Library, corner of Cambie and No. 5 roads.

Gently-used hardcover books will be on sale with proceeds to benefit the Richmond public libraries.

Children's and adult fiction, Chinese and even culinary books are among various genres of literature at the event.

Visitors are asked to bring their own bags or boxes as well as cash for payment.

Face mask coverings and physical distancing will be enforced due to COVID-19.

The sidewalk book sale is taking place at 150-11590 Cambie Rd. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
