Richmond Fire-Rescue has launched a website to keep the public informed of latest news, numbers, awareness campaigns and fire safety and prevention tips.

The idea was to have a user-friendly, informative website for all community members, explained Richmond’s fire chief Tim Wilkinson.

"The website has an engaging visual design enabling visitors to navigate the site quickly, with information and education at their fingertips,” he added.

Other information includes an educational section for kids, fire regulation codes, permits and bylaw information, information for newcomers, rental properties and homeowners and some historical information about the fire department.
