West Richmond Community Centre was the venue last week for a 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games floor hockey qualifier.
Teams from Richmond, Mission, Delta and Comox competed for points that go towards the Special Olympics in Kamloops next February.
Comox won the round-robin qualifier, with Richmond coming in second place.
Other qualifiers being played this year are in five-pin bowling, snow shoeing, figure skating, speed skating, alpine skiing and curling.
