A large crowd of families gathered in anticipation on the boardwalk, at the entrance to the Fisherman's Wharf, to welcome the return of Santa Claus on Sunday early afternoon.
Santa arrived with the help of the RCMSARS rescue vessel around 1 p.m. while waving at the crowd.
Kids and families waved and yelled "hello Santa" and "we missed you Santa" as the jolly old elf walked up the ramp onto the boardwalk with glee.
He greeted everyone as he made his way to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery.
Carriage rides around the village were also loading people on at Bayview Street and No. 1 Road.
