The Pacific Chinese Cultural Society presented a cheque for $25,900 to the Richmond Hospital Foundation.

The Pacific Chinese Cultural Society (PCCS) just donated $25,900 to the Richmond Hospital Foundation's Trio of Life Campaign.

“We hope our donation will equip our local health care team with new equipment that will enable the best possible care for patients, friends, and family,” said John Pak, president of the PCCS.

Most of PCCS' membership consists of Richmond residents, and members spent this past spring raising funds for the donation.

The donation will contribute to the foundation's goal to raise $580,000 to acquire the latest diagnostic equipment for the cardiology, pulmonary, and neurology specialties.

“Thank you to the Pacific Chinese Cultural Society for lending a hand and supporting this vital campaign,” said Spencer Gall, campaign director for the Richmond Hospital Foundation.

“Their generous contribution will provide our health care team with the tools they need to ensure that the best assessment and care is available in Richmond.”
